We wanted to take the time to thank Joe for the time he spent with us prior to the purchase of a historical property in Ocean City NJ. We had spoken to three different contractors in Ocean City during our contractual inspection process. Joe was genuinely a good person who cared more about us potentially making a bad investment, versus gaining tons of work from our mistake. He arrived on time for our first appointment and spent over an hour inspecting the home. He was professional and honest from the door. He gained our respect immediately. Regardless the fact he would have no financial gain if our deal fell through, he made us informed of the vast money needed to properly rehab the home. I cannot thank Joe enough for his selflessness. Just wanted to let you know how pleased we are with the step repair. Our son and granddaughter came down over the weekend, and he emailed pictures he took on his phone of the completed installation of the mailbox and the 3839 #'s which can be readily seen from the alley. He especially commented on the way the stair treads were finished off. This experience with you has been great from the beginning since a lot of it was initially done over the phone. Later when I actually met you, I was even more impressed. Your personality and making yourself available both in person and/or on the phone have been just fantastic.

Our air conditioner was falling off the house when I called Maglione, now it is stronger than the house… 

Then when I had a leak and needed dry wall redone in the storage area they did a super job. Joe then proceeded to have his men clean out all the debris in the storage area for this old lady. Great jobs, would not hesitate to call them again.

I was working in the yard this afternoon and a dog walker stopped to chat.  She said she had watched the consWith all the complaints in the world, I thought I should take a minute and report a positive experience I had with one of your contractors and how they support it your reputation for quality.  I live at 613 sunrise Ave. and purchased the house new in June 2011.  Just recently a few roof shingles were damaged by the wind in the rear of the house.  I called [your roofing contractor] the roofer who installed the original roof.  [He] previously inspected the house after Hurricane Sandy and made a few repairs.  [He] responded in timely manner, then called after inspecting the damaged area to inform me that he had fixed the shingles and except for extreme winds, the shingles should not lift from the roof again.  When I asked how much I owed him, he informed me that he was covering the costs.  When I asked why, he indicated that, although he was not sure exactly why the shingles were lifting, they should not have lifted with the level of the recent winds.  [He] further indicated that he prides himself on delivering a quality roof and then if there's something wrong with the roof he installed, he wanted to make it right.

I was not on the roof to inspect the shingles and even if I did, would probably be unable to tell you if there was an installation defect or not. What I can say is that I gained a lot of respect for [Your Contractor]. Even if the installation was not correct, he easily could have excused the broken shingles as normal wind damage, fixed the problem and charged me, but he didn't.  I truly appreciate [his] honesty and willing his willingness to stand behind his work, I'm sure over the years the roof will need routine attention and I am happy to know someone that I can call knowing they are not looking to take advantage of the situation.
